Dear Lover of Crystal
The name of Swarovski is synonymous with the magic power of crystal. Every
creation by this 100 year-old firm is endowed with unsurpassed quality,
achieved by uniting fascinating design with the fiery brilliance of manifold
crystalline facets. Based on this tradition, in 1976 we created the
Silver Crystal line of unique figurines and decorative objects, and with
it swiftly won the hearts of collectors throughout the world.
Our decision in 1987 to found the Swarovski Collector's Society was made
in response to the ever-widening popularity of swarovski Silver Crystal.
It seemed to us the ideal way to bring together a large number of people
sharing a common interest, and to allow those persons certain advantages
offered only to Society members.
With the "Fabulous Creatures" trilogy, the enthusiasm for the SCS Annual
Edition has reached a new high point. For this reason I not only recommend
to you most cordially the Pegasus which completes the trilogy, I also wish
to assure you that the unexpectedly large demand shall serve as a challenge
in the coming years to create other pieces of this same extraordinary qualiy.
As a member of the fourth generation of the swarovski family and a great-grandson
of Daniel Swarovski, the founder of the company, I am proud that the SCS
has so rapidly established a firm place in our long tradition. It is my
pleasure and my privilege to extend to you a personal invitation to become
